Hand-painted pop-art sculptures shaped like soda cans

Cansy makes collectible pop-art sculptures shaped like soda and lemonade cans — each one a 3D-printed form, then elaborately hand-painted by a former beverage label designer. Pieces range up to $8,000, and commissions — including custom branded cans for companies — are open.

What is Cansy?

Cansy is the name of a contemporary sculptor whose work turns the everyday soda can into collectible pop art. The can shape is the sculpture: a 3D-printed base becomes the canvas for hours of acrylic hand-painting, so each piece is unique in surface even when the form is editioned. The subject is sugary, colorful, non-alcoholic soda and lemonade culture — invented flavors and labels rendered as fine art. The pieces are not made from recycled aluminum cans; they are sculpted forms, painted by hand.

Where does the work come from?

Cansy spent years as a beverage label designer, drawing real drink packaging every day. Those labels grew beyond the brief into free artistic work, and eventually off the flat page into three dimensions. The sculptures are packaging design becoming fine art — which is why the paint, the flavor names, and the label typography carry the whole idea. Read the full story →

How much do the sculptures cost?

Cansy's sculptures sell from the low thousands up to $8,000, depending on size, edition, and painting hours — collectible pop art in the same spirit as KAWS, Warhol, or Koons editions, at a fraction of their prices. Every work has its own page with a visible price, dimensions, materials, and availability, so you can buy (or enquire) directly. See prices →

Can I commission my own can?

Yes. Commissions are open for individual collectors and for companies — a soda brand, brewery, or agency can have its own product packaging turned into a hand-painted sculpture. The beverage-label background is the bridge: Cansy has designed real drink labels professionally. How commissions work →
